You can also create a Master Password, which is a special attribute of the Password-controlled type of access control object. Using a master password will grant access to all password restricted object operations. Only one master password can exist on any computer at any time.
If you are upgrading from DeskMan/2 version 1.x, be aware that master passwords are only effective on objects using DeskMan/2 version 2.0 access control objects, and not on objects using DeskMan/2 version 1.x passwords. To convert objects using version 1.x passwords, open each object's settings notebook to the Access policies page and assign a version 2.x access control object, then remove the version 1.x access control object.
To set or change the master password, open any password-controlled access control object and click the button labeled Set master password.
