Advanced users may change the minimum and maximum word sizes that will be allowed by the Builder's index engine. Words outside these limits will be ignored.
SiteSurfer defaults to a minimum size of 2 characters, and a maximum of 30. Depending on the subject matter, it may make sense to increase the minimum to 3 or 4, as there are not many 2- or 3-letter words with good semantic value in text retrieval. Likewise, if you are using SiteSurfer to search programming source code, the 30 character maximum may not be long enough for some identifiers.
The maximum value for maximum word size is 50. The minimum value for minimum word size is 1.
